A few nights ago I had some pretty cool dreams that I didn't write down because I didn't remember very much about them. I still don't remember much, but I'll now bother to write down what I do remember, since I just finished a whole bunch of crap at work and I did it awesome and I think it's time for me to take a break.
OK, so in the first part I remember, I was going on a tour of some park with animals. They'd drive you around on this little train. Not a tracked train, just a bunch of cars linked together that you would drive around on a regular road. And I got to drive the thing, but I tried to drive up a grassy hill and it didn't work because the engine wasn't powerful enough.
I got the feeling that the place I was in in the next part of the dream I had gotten to by riding that train. There was a large square room with no roof, several stories high, with apartments around the sides. I was staying in one of the apartments with this dream GF that I don't actually have in real life, and one time I walked out and I climbed all the way to the top where it was grassy and nice and I was up on top of a mountain (with the big rectangular room carved into the top) and I could see over all the clouds and hills covered with jungle in the distance. It was really pretty and I liked it up there.
Later there was a dream that I was looking at a cool outdoorsy place with grass and hills and bushes that someone had made using the Duke Nukem 3D engine. It renewed my interest in trying to make places for that game and I woke up thinking about how to distribute different shades of green to make a good palette to use to draw those bushes. I worried that I couldn't have very many shades of any single color because that wouldn't leave enough room for other colors. 4x16 = limit...
Purple Motion rocks a lot, and so does my new ListContainer stuff and TRAlbum2, and SVN, and all this chocolate that I've been eating at work. Yeaaaah woooooo.
Tomorrow I plan to go to go to the Y and ask them about signing up for another set of swim lessons, and then on Sunday Fizz and I are going to visit A-Day at his home in Milwaukee and get free spaghetti. Yeaaaahhh.
