Got up at 7:00 just like on a weekday, except after eating breakfast I got in the car and drove to Milwaukee instead of biking to work. Stopped at a Shell station and performed my first pay-at-pump ever. Milwaukee's cool because it's got all these highways that twist around and go over and under eachother. There was this really cool think that looked like it would be an awesome bridge but then as I passed it I realized it was just a stupid Miller Park. Got a little bit off the course I had planned with Google earth, and my atlas was totally useless, but just following the lake made finding Julia's room not too hard. Then she was all asleep and stuff so I went and read this book that I found on the shelf in my room for a while. Then like we ate and stuff? And went to see lake Michigan. And ate at...Qdoba. And as I was leaving I went and checked out a different part of the lake. Coming home was scary because it started raining really hard just as I was leaving Milwaukee. I could hardly see the lines on the road. Fortunately everyone around me was also hesitant to fly off into a wall and we all slowed down to about 35 MPH and it was manageable.
UWM is at least 6000 times cooler than Platteville because they have really tall dorms and a lake.
