First I dreampt about bees trying to sting me, and that woke me up. Then I half-dreampt about something else that was scary and made me wake up.
Then I had a dream that I was in P-ville, and biking around south of the road that had the geographical location of the road that Google Earth calls "Us-Br-151", though of course it wasn't quite right, and it was way more hilly, mysterious, and awesome than the one in real life. A-Day and/or Fizz might have been with me, and I was looking for someone with a car that could give me a ride to Madison (since I had to go to this canoe lake lesson for Hoofers the next morning). We ended up wandering back to the house, and I think these guys I was with went off to a beer party and I got tired of that and started running. I was running around all night on these highways. Sometimes it seemed like someone was with me. Then I looked at my watch and it was 8:30 and I had to go to that canoe lake lesson by 9:00 and I was all the way out in Platteville and even if I had a car with me right now I wouldn't be able to get there in time, and I'd have to run for at least an hour just to get back to P-ville to find someone who could give me a ride.
Spent the morning going over RosettaStone's Unit 1 of German/Japanese. I can get through that unit of Spanish and German in one sitting, but Japanese is a bit tougher. As I left for the Union I turned back to make sure I had the right time, and it turned out it wasn't at 9:00, it was at 11:00, so I sat around some more. Then I went, and got told about what the flags mean and when you can take a canoe out and where, and jive like that. And then we went canoing for a bit until we showed Mike that we knew how to do a J-stroke. And my biking shoes (the flip-flops that used to be white but aren't any more) fell in the lake, but we happened to be paddling by the dock at that time so I jumped out and rescued them.
Since I was already in the neighborhood, I then went and ate lunch with Fizz at the House of Wisconsin Cheese. I had a grilled swiss cheese sandwich with lettuce, tomatoes, and onions, and some free almost-expired chocolate milk. Then I went home through a huge crowd of red and white colored people and immediately became bored and wrote this. Plan is to go to Milwaukee tomorrow to visit Julia. And see Milwaukee, since I've never really been there except for the Zoo, the Domes, and the airport.
Chicago, Minneapolis, and Galena'll have to wait for some other weekends.
