It's rained a bit lately and cooled down. Hooray for canada. The weather reminds me of old times when things were more interesting. Reminds me of fall, maybe. Field trips in 7th grade. Of course then the smell changes just slightly and I'm reminded of FF7 days. That was a good game. Just looking at the PlayStation controller brought back memories of it. That was the FF7 and Gran Turismo 2 box. I didn't play much else on it. The dreamcast was the Sonic Adventure box. And the SNES is turning into the Super Mario All-Stars box, as that's about all the kids ever play on it. And now I just had a flashback to playing through Half-Life. It's funny how this goes. A smell and a breeze or a song cause me to, just for a moment, feel just like I did a long time ago. And then it disappears, and I often have a hard time figuring out exactly what it was I was reminded of, especially when it was something vague like 'cool late summer, and thinking a lot about a certain female'. And I'm not even sure about that.
- Another dream I think I forgot to write about at the time I had it involved wandering around the Platteville campus searching for the yellow key. There was this woman there that someone had sent to help me find it. Sometimes I would go up a cliff and hit my head on the sky, since the place was constructed like a Doom level (with tmapgen terrain - so Sauerbraten's more accurate) where the sky's just a sky texture on an otherwise normal ceiling.
- Timmy's here. I went out walking with Heather as folks went to the airport to get him. I forgot what the place was called that we went to. Some park south of the beltline and east of Verona road. I never knew you could go between Seminole/Beltline/that bike bridge near the arboretum and the Allied area like that. But now I do. It was a nice way to get home, as backtracking would have been a lot farther.
