Apparently taking a nap upon arriving at the office is a good way to induce dreams.
2014-10-24 (Friday)
I was going for a motorcycle ride out west of Madison. As I slowly pulled into a gas station I managed to wipe out onto the right side of the bike, snapping off the brake pedal (which in the dream was a flimsy little plastic triangle). The rest of the dream was spent talking to some guy who knew more about my bike than I did (he pointed out a bunch of storage compartments full of food) who got progressively more annoyed at me.
Back at the office, and I went out for a walk or lunch with Shaina. We were spending quite a lot of time wandering around downtown and it was starting to bother me that I wasn't getting in enough hours for the day and probably was failing to fix something that somebody wanted fixed. But then I realized that I was not really wandering downtown, but napping on the futon.
So I got up and there was a giant stuffed mouse in the office. But I could only see out of my right eye. Why couldn't I see out of my left eye? Did I put too much pressure on it while I was napping? Oh wait, no, I was still staring into my pillow, more actually awake this time.
The next day I repeated the process and had more dreams that I wanted to write down, but I never got around to it and now I've totally forgot what they were, though I probably told some people about them, first.
