Dreamt that I was visiting a multi-story (apparently there were at least 3) house in Mt. Horeb, maybe Nate's old house, and he still lived there and was the same as ever. I was looking around and was very impressed because there were so many different staircases that connected to rooms in strange ways, such that there were plenty of loops. It also seemed that the floors on one side of the house were several feet higher than the other, so that if you said "3rd floor" it wouldn't be immediately obvious what you were talking about. After exploring for a while I found a room on the 2.5-3rd floor in the front half of the house that I had missed earlier, and thought that it would be a great bedroom for me. I said something to the effect of "if I lived in Mt. Horeb, I'd love to have this room." Partly because I thought the house was neat and liked that it had so many rooms connected in such complex ways, but also the room had a door to a balcony overlooking the front yard.
I thought about sitting in the room using my computer, and how I usually did that in the green bedroom at my parents' house, and found the idea depressing. I didn't want to close myself up in some bedroom every day, or maybe ever. Yet I knew this was something I routinely did.
