So I had this potted plant, and I went to water it, but I put in way too much water. I tried to drain it but even then there was a lot of water left. Rather than try to drain it further I simply declared that the pot was now an aquarium, and it became square with clear sides and pebbles on the bottom. There were cute little 8-armed invertebrates hanging out in there, and they weren't doing well because there wasn't enough oxygen in the water, so I took this random rigid plastic tube and stuck it into a high point in the gravel. Due to the way the tube was shaped, water naturally flowed up and out of the tube and splashed down into the water, mixing it with air. At first that the tube could do this with no power seemed like a conservation of energy violation, but I found a way to explain where the energy was coming from which I don't remember and which I don't think made any sense, anyway.
The aquarium also had plants. To get this all working made me very happy.
In real life I have not had an aquarium since middle school and do not want one, but I have a friend who's gotten into them recently.
I've gotten into drinking hot chocolate, recently.
