Dreams:
- I was at work, late, alone (as I was last night), and had to use the bathroom across the parking lot. In the dream there was a larger, more open space between the buildings, and more than one parking lot, with stips of grass and some trees between. The parking lot on the EarthIT side was maybe 15 feet higher than the parking lot on the far side, so I had to either take some steps or carefully slide down the grass when I went between them. As I left there was someone (probably the landlord or an employee of one of the other companies in the building) coming in, and I wanted to avoid detection by them, so I wasn't using my light. I found the bathroom and used it without much difficulty, meanwhile thinking about how someone had said (maybe the mystery person had been talking to someone) there didn't seem to be any Ruby experts in Madison, and he was very disappointed about that. I wondered how that could be true (and thinking that there was at least one, being either me or that guy, but that I wasn't as big a Ruby fan as I used to be).
- Related to that dream was another one where I was driving around on 1-way downtown roads near the office. I don't remember where I was going, but I think someone was with me. Maybe Abe.
- For some reason I was in some foreign neighborhood (not necessarily in another country, but maybe). I spent a lot of time walking through subdivisions looking for houses. I don't know how I identified the house I was going for on any given night, but when I found it I'd stay there. I feel like I exchanged stuff when I stopped. Like water bottles and mittens and skis and TVs.
I think Joh wanted to do something with me today, but I've seen no sign of him so I've been playing around with 3D floors and voxels in ZDoom (I downloaded Doom Builder 2 (which seems to suck less at loading large maps than Doom Builder 1 did, or maybe I'm just using a faster computer for it), SLADE 3, and SLAB6 (Ken Silverman's voxel editor)).
Other plans: 80s-90s dance party at Majestic tonight and canoeing with Carl at the power plant tomorrow.
I am getting shorter on hours, as I don't think I even worked 40 hours last week. I'm supposed to be data-modelling for the First 30 project.
