Some dreams from last weekend:
- I went back to Widen to do some project for them. After that was done I still had a ton of stuff I needed to do at EarthIT. And beyond that there were some other projects that I was doing. It was sort of like one of those dreams where I realize I've forgotten to go to a class all semester (since I was at Widen but should also have been at EarthIT at the same time), but less stressful.
- I was climbing up the side of my parents' house. I was climbing on all these flimsy things like water spouts and potted plants, and they were falling apart as I climbed on them.
- Eh, there were these 2 Giants named Trevor and Alex. We had to walk through all these parks and fields to get to where they were, even though it wasn't very far away (there was a cliff or a fence in the way, so we couldn't go directly). Also where they were was this glassy building where I worked. Sarah and Hannah worked there, too.
- And while we were in that same area, the captain got kidnapped by this pulsating brain thing. It could read our thoughts, too. To weaken it we had to think really depressing thoughts. When we weakened it enough the universe reset to an earlier state, before the captain got kidnapped, but I still remembered what had happened.
- I was taking a Calc2 test. I had to re-take the test after not having taken the class for several years, and I had forgotten so much that I couldn't even figure out what most of the questions were asking.
On monday we all (Mom, Dawne, Dawne's kids except Timmy, me, and YC) went to Noah's Ark. It was pretty cloudy and not many people were there, so all the lines were either short or nonexistent, so we got to go on all the rides as many times as we wanted. In the end we all ended up in the wave pool, and a rainstorm came in really suddenly and got everyone all wet as they ran out of the park.
We had 3 more storms through the rest of the week that were all really similar to that storm. They were all boomerang shaped with abrupt front edges that moved southeast straight over Madison. On Thursday night and Friday morning (early and late Friday morning, really, but they were 2 separate storms) I went out and took some pictures of them. Then I went to work and stayed until 21:00 to work on some Schweser stuff that's due on Tuesday. YC and I took a break to go eat a 16 inch Glass Nickel pizza in the park.
A few nights ago I dreampt that I was watching the news and Peter Jennings came on. I was like, what the heck, then I realized that it was just Charlie Gibson with a lot of CGI over his face and his voice filtered. You could tell it was him, though, by the way he talked and moved. I thought it was pretty dumb that they would do that.
Today we all went to the Toy Train Barn in Argyle. It was pretty cool.
