Let's Try Making A Few Sounds (version 'ec')

Some garbage house beat with a bunch of other stuff sloppily layered onto it for way too long because I was trying out some techniques from Underdog's YouTube channel:

• 909 drums, which I don't normally use (but Oscar made them sound cool, probably in Everything you need to know about Kick Drums)
• Kick-derived 'techno rumble' (Techno Rumble Mastery)
• A simple 'jacking hihats' beat (something about Skrillex and Four Tet)
• Using EQ 8 to create stereo effects (3 techniques for STEREO sound)
• ASMRish sounds used for texture and 'turnaround' (also inspired by the Skrillex/Four Tet video)

While making this track I learned to use Live's vocoder, which is actually not very complicated and I don't know why I didn't mess with it earlier given that I was using Reason's vocoder back in like 2004. Maybe it's because I found Live's sidechaining system to be less obvious than Reason's cables. But Underdog's Shadow Grooves video, in which he turns tom drums into a noisy thing using the vocoder made it all clear.

Anyway, this arrangement kind of blows but I think there are a few neat sounds in it.
