I dreamt that I was in this field at the outskirts of Verona. There was a creek at the south end that you could boat down, and I was walking around exploring it. I didn't think there was any way to get across without getting my feet wet, but then while approaching it from a way that I hadn't tried before I found a bridge. And I went across, and then followed a path.
That path took me to a small 2-story apartment building. I knew some people that lived there, and they were expecting me, so I went on it. Dawne and Jason and kids were living there. I looked out the window and there was a grassy field, and beyond that were trees. The trees were all different colors, like in the middle of fall. And out the window on the other side was a similar view. I thought what a wonderful place this would be to live, if only it weren't so far from everyone. It reminded me of the hilly countryside around New Glarus that I used to see when my mom would take me to visit my grandpa.
As I left I was talking to Hannah over IM. She was to the point of getting a goofy myspace page and stuff like that. And I was having a hard time getting my ski poles arranged. I kept ending up with one of YC's, which were way too short for me.
Somehow I ended up having to help build a railroad. We were digging ditches. We were supposed to be making them square and straight, but I was new and mine sucked. From time to time everyone would lay down in the section that they had made and run a wagon along it (over the top, with one wheel on each side). If you made your section crappy, the wagon would fall on you, and it would sort of hurt.
