Actually, we won both 'race for the flags' *and* 'feed the cookie monsters'. It was pretty schweet, especially considering all the effort I put into that program.
"Geez, man! How'd you get 2380 points?"
"I just kept clicking on stuff.."
It also helped that we have a nice GUI, compared to half the class's crappy old command-line interfaces. Not that I have anything against CLIs. They're great for... well, not PaintBall.
Anyway, by next Friday I need to
- Check in the PaintBallClient code to SourceSafe
- Document the overall structure of the program
This is in addition to
- Do Statistics homework in preparation for the quiz/exam (next Monday and Friday, respectively)
- Study for the History test on Tuesday
Which are both big jobs. I probably won't have time to
- Work on the C# inplementaion of FXRJournal (TCSJournal?)
- Work on my Gnomoradio client
Though if I find myself unable to do homework, I should definitely do one of those things instead of
- Play in the FarCry sandbox
- Work on the Cube level
For the gnomoradio client, what I would really like is a media player that responds to OSC messages. That way your Gnomoradio can simply use your existing media player to play music, and only itself worry about collecting files. But since there doesn't seem to be any such thing, I must make do with a very hackish Winamp interface.
