I was in a plastic canoe in the Wisconsin River near the Dells, with a group as part of some tour. The water was covered with a white frosting, maybe it was just foam, because the water was very warm. It was fun to paddle around in. I wanted to be careful to avoid the hottest parts because I didn't want to melt my canoe. The guide reassured me that my canoe would not melt.
We (me, Sara, maybe Fizz or Joh) were getting a tour of Deadmau5's house, which was actually an apartment in the Dells. He took us down some steep stairs into like a storage room, and there were a couple of different stairways up to different bedrooms, but most of it was on a single floor. There was a section that seemed to be 'all hallways', but the hallways were spacious and not cluttered so they could kind of double as living areas. Lots of white walls with square wood trim, and lots of light coming in exterior windows. The apartment wrapped arond a square atrium (?) in the center of the building. Halfway around, after it had become a self-guided tour (Deadmau5 himself had checked out after the bedrooms) I came to a half-height wall in the corner which I considered climbing over but then realized that this was the end of his apartment and the start of an identical, rotated-180°-around-the-atrium one.
Having found the boundaries of the apartment, and remembering that there had been one downstairs room and a couple of upstairs ones, which I was pretty sure didn't fill the entire half-floor like the main floor section did, I wondered how this apartment fit with the ones above and below it. Maybe they were layed out slightly differently, or maybe every other floor was someone's apartment, and the between floors had the bedrooms of the apartment below and the 'basement' of the one above (which feels like a basement due to lack of windows).
During all this we we were listening to a baseball game on the radio. Some team with a familiar, short name (not the Cubs) was playing against a team that Deadmau5 had bought. I was rooting for Deadmau5's team, mostly because I disliked the owners of the other team. As we were leaving they won and I was like "woohoo!"
