Dreams:
The Coliseum had a big glass dome (made of lots of triangles) over it. Actually the dome encompassed several buildings, including the Coliseum itself, but when people said "Ths Coliseum", they were usually referring to the dome. Someone busted a big hole through the glass at ground level, but there was a good reason for doing that. I forget what the reason was.
I had to drive down to McFarland for some reason. Maybe some kid went to school there and I was supposed to pick them up. It was as if I was taking Stoughton road south from northeast Madison, but instead of a 4-lane highway through the city it was a 2-lane country road passing by farms and forests and lakes, which was nice.
I was with a couple of friends on a canoe trip that started in Lake Superior and would take us east and south through the other great lakes. To get from Lake Superior to Lake Michigan we had to cross through a small canal through the upper penninsula. I was planning the route, and in my imagination / the route simulation I had us speed in and bounce around randomly. Trying this led me to realize that the passage was actually made up of lots of tiny interconnected lakes. I scrolled around to try to get an idea of how much of this stuff we'd have to navigate. I found a bigger lake and at first thought that was the end, but then realized it was not big enough to be Lake Michigan. I guess I didn't have a way to zoom out, or didn't want to, because sometimes it's kind of fun to not know exactly where you are.
Someone not on the trip asked me why we were making this trip, and I was a little annoyed at them. Like why do we need a reason.
