I saw Nick yesterday at GMB and talked about how I'm a 'bad trotskyist' because I don't have time to or am not good at reading large quantities of very dry material. Later I came up with the idea of 'cultural trotskyism', which is when you make people read inordinate amounts of material (members bulletins, multiple redundant articles on the same topic, long, dense, theoretical books for reading groups) and sit through long meetings where people give long boring talks about the nuances of our positions. Not everyone is cut out for that, but that doesn't mean there's not a place for them in SA.

Dreams:

Sara and I were driving the Prius in the country somewhere. There was a muddy road along the edge of a field that went up over a hill. We were trying to traverse it, but it wasn't clear that it was going to work. A guy in the field yelled at us. Probably something about how we weren't driving the right kind of vehicle for this terrain. We knew.

In a different and maybe unrelated dream, I and all my friends were having what seemed like a dance party in a gym. Maybe it was some anniversarry or a reunion.

At one point I was hugging Renee a lot. At a different point I was dancing with Sara and squeezing her a lot because I was realizing how much I loved her.

The dancing room was dark, but there was a normal-room-height room off to the side that was more brightly lit and had a TV in it. Ben had suggested some documentary about space objects and I was watching it. "Hey Ben this is an excellent show to chill to!" I yelled out to him (he was still in the dancing room).

Later, while the party was still going on, I was trying to clean up. Maybe I had strewn a bunch of parts around for some project I'd been working on, but now I wanted to be able to use the space for the party.

During the day I pooped in my pants and this prompted me to clean the bathtub.
