I was with some friends on a mission to get...some item from the middle of a lake. It was a sort of busy day for the lake, with a bunch of people hanging around it at the beach or whatever. I somehow procured a kayak, thinking that it would be quicker to get to the middle of the lake in it. But while I horsed around with the kayak my friends waded through the lake, which now had this array of square pillars in it, so we had to follow along these hallways, basically. By the time I got in there I had lost sight of them, and the kayak wasn't that great for navigating this sort of thing anyway.

I ended up in this underground cafeteria with some other corridors coming off of it that I figured led to bedrooms and factories and everything else you need to run a civilization. I either didn't have any money with me or they used different money here or didn't use money at all, so I was going to have to 'start from scratch'. Maybe I'll be a potato farmer, I thought.
