I had taken a plane to some place in Africa. The plane landed in like a field, and we got off using a long ramp from the door down to the ground and a road running perpendicular to the ramp (and parallel to the plane). I had things to do. I don't remember what they were. I ended up at a dead-end of that main road, having taken a left from walking off the ramp. It was getting dark. The air here was very nice to breathe. But later it turned out this town had a tradition that people weren't supposed to be out at night. They knew that I didn't know that though, so nobody was mad at me.

I chopped up some mushrooms and jammed the pieces into the ground, hoping they would colonize the ground and make more mushrooms. As I did so they became worms. A small hole (maybe 3mm wide) opened up, which I interpreted as the colonization was succeeding. And then I was in the hole, and it was full of bouncing exercise balls, like the 'gumball machine' bonus places from Sonic 3. As I was bouncing around I was supposed to kick the balls a certain way, and if I hit them out of the pit, maybe, I'd get whatever was in them. There were different colors, representing different elements, and they had different items inside. The red one was like fire, and had an icon that looked like Knuckles' head. But I had already done the fire level, so I was trying to decide which ball would be most likely to have something useful for me.
