I went on some kind of trip. Came back and was showing photos and videos to my family. Some of them were embarassing.
Then I wrote a simulator for fuilds flowing through pipes. So there was a lot of code for fluid and pipe rendering, and they looked really good, but it wasn't necessarily good at doing anything else. Though our pipes were embedded in some ground, and that looked fine? Or maybe it was all transparent, because we could see the place that the fluid was flowing from, and like suction from the fluid leaving was making the floor move up and down. So that was some nice emergent behavior that made the simulator seem more awesome.
Over where the floor was moving up and down now there was a ladder into a house. And I went in there and talked to a guy named Mullin who was not Adam Mullin from Schweser, but a different smart guy who I was talking to about the fluid/dirt/moving-floors-that-are-actually-ladders simulator.
