We were driving out west, but actually it was in Factorio, but it had real 3D mountains, and someone had made the terrain generator so out in Utah it was these red plateaus that everyone thought looked really cool, but when I zoomed out I realized that the middle frequencies were left out, so it was this pretty uniform distribution of plateaus, which worked well for that area, but when viewed zoomed out was not as interesting as other parts of the world we had passed by further east, which had mountains of different sizes, and sometimes there'd be a mountain range with some extral tall mountains in the middle, and forests and stuff.
