Weird sci-fi movie. Excessive rocket launching. Like full-sized space rockets, and someone kept mashing the button and they kept blasting off, but they were able to skimp on special effects because the sky was all gray clouds.
Our protagonist was climbing up these mossy rocks while terrible music played and the lyrics were about how this movie should be nominated for an oscar or something. Up at the top there was a wedding reception, and the protagonist was me, and after the reception we were being asked to pay like 3000$ each for being there, and I was like "naw I'm not paying that!" and I said we should take a vote, and the other guests voted with me to not pay it, which I guess meant someone else was stuck with the bill, and I felt kind of bad about that, but not bad enough to pay 3000$. Then I left.
I went on a trip to Texas. Maybe on a bike. I was staying with some guy there. After I arrived we went to Walmart. Except then instead of going into Walmart we went into like some bar where guy knew everybody. He went behind the counter and grabbed a whole jug of iced tea and they were all like "hey what are you doing" when he went to water it down, but he assured them that he was going to drink the whole thing and then they were like "oh alright".
Then we went mountain biking in this one park which was just like Raymond Ridge park, and as we approached I was noticing how every place in this town was an almost identical analogue to some place in Madison. Like "the grassy park on a hill bordered by a couple of 2-lane highways in the back". I think that's called an 'archetype'. So anyway we were running up this hill, and the air was hot and dry, but running was easy and it felt good. We came to one spot as the trail passed by some trees, and I stood still and closed my eyes to see if I felt floaty, because I had this idea that in a dream I wouldn't feel gravity, but I felt like I was lying on my back, which wasn't very interesting so then I kept going. We came to the end of a penninsula where the path did a tight little loop surrounded by a railing beyond which the ground dropped down into a lake. Beyond the lake was wilderness. I don't know what happened to those highways. Anyway, I was like hey I'm dreaming, so why don't I do some crazy wack tricks on the railing, and I was riding my bike along the outside of the railing by hooking the wheel around like a roller coaster wheel, which meant that I had to unhook it and re-hook it every time I passed by a post, and I was doing that really well for the first 3 posts, but then I lost my touch and went flying into the lake. Good thing it's just water! Except then I banged my head on it because actually it was a salt flat or something, which isn't something I'd expect to survive, so I guess I died. And that was the end of the dream.
