I was on a space station around Pluto. Space travel was relatively cheap these days because there were tethers spinning around all the planets and major moons, so to get around you'd climb to the end of one and let go at the right moment to be flung across the solar system. I guess you were ssupposed to do this in a space ship with a computer controlling the exact moment of letting go to get going in the right direction, but I kept climbing to the end just in my dinky space suit and trying to fling myself to other planets. Which, after letting go, I would realize that I hadn't aimed very good or accounted for the relative motion of the planets or myself and that I was going to miss and end up floating through interstellar space. First from Pluto to somewhere, and then from Mars to Earth. But since it was a dream I was just like whatever nevermind and then I was somewhere else.
In the last part of the dream I was on Earth at a space elevator ground station. There were these big old walls that you could walk along that curved upwards towards the base of the elevator. I made it up to some lobby. There were tour groups and people all over the place. A climber was departing, so I got on after realizing that I couldn't just climb up this one. I was planning to fling myself off the end, again. Maybe this time to rescue the alternate me that was flying away from Mars and going to miss Earth.
