I discovered and played a lot of Factorio over the weekend. It is what I always wanted to build, minus the IP networking stuff (though I'm not sure that's out of the realm of possibility to mod such into it).
Dreams from last night/this morning; they all involved houses with lots of rooms connected by doorless doorways.
I was renting an apartment. This was in addition to owning my house, and I started wondering why I was also renting this apartment. I wasn't keeping anything important in it. I thought there must be some reason that I just wasn't thinking of right now, but that maybe I should clean it up and move more stuff out in case I decided to stop renting it.
But I seemed to be sharing the place with Shanna and Bob. Or maybe they were my neighbors? And sometimes there were piles of stuff and things that needed cleaning up and it wasn't clear if that was my fault or theirs.
After having some minor confrontation or disagreement with some people at a party I was biking home, north along the Badger State Trail from somewhere south of PD. In the dream the path was dirt and it was night and raining, so it was mud, and I was on my little red bike and sliding around a bit. While this was not great conditions for biking, I thought it would be really cool to play paintball in conditions like this.
I was at some party, and there was a drawer that appeared to have mushrooms growing out of it. I poked at it and realized that it wasn't mushrooms, it was some kind of vegetable, like a zucchini, but white, and then that the things that looked like mushroom caps were actually big round spiders, and then that the drawer was actually just a 3-sided cardboard wall resting on the floor, and that now there were hundreds of tiny baby spiders crawling under the island. I peeked around the back side of it by the counter to see where they were going, and it looked like there were some red ants or something battling them. Maybe They would annihilate each other and this wouldn't be a problem.
I'm thinking about buying the house on the corner and renting it out.
