Went to Aaron's Moving to Austin [Without Much of a Plan] party and brought Becky along. Everyone had their own pitchers. Oh man I drank a lot of beer.

Later we went to watch World's End, which was very fitting. Afterwards I was still drunk.

When I got home I took my shirt off and fell asleep on the couch. Later I got up and fell asleep in my bed, and I kept dreaming about the Yellowstone road trip crew.

In one we were stopped at a gas station in a really small town. We had 2 cars and a bus. Bears showed up. We had to not get mauled. It was kind of scary.

In the other, after (some other stuff and) racing to and via Rainbow Road as Peach against Devin and Yumiko and Jewel (and losing, but not by much, even though I had been paying little attention), Jewel sent me back to the other side of town. I had my SLR in the big brown case and my backpack nicely stashed under my raincoat so they didn't get wet and didn't bounce too much so I was able to travel quickly. Out the other side of town were a bunch of firefighters and volunteers, my mom among them, preparing for a test evacuation of the town. It was going to be a surprise to most of the residents and I didn't really want to participate, so I grabbed my stuff and headed back the other way. Jared tried to grab my camera from me because he was confused and thought it was his, but the camera was very important to me and I swung it to hit him while saying "this camera is not yours; it is mine!"

I had a really nice day today.

That was an understatement.
