Went on Fall Colors trip. Better company than last year. I got to drive this time and thereby find out what it is that makes shuttling always take so long. I got lots of pictures of people's heads. On the first night I dreamt that I was hopping around the house in my sleeping bag, and there were lots of centipedes around. One got onto the edge of the bag and I woke up trying to flick it off. I think this dream also included CBragg and me working on a railroad in Minecraft.
Nice things that happened today:
On my way out the door to work I found someone had donated me some pans for making bread and a dozen eggs with a sign attached indicating that they were for "Dan The Muffin Man" who makes cupcakes that are "the best evar". I don't know who left that.
It was raining, so I got a chance to use my new rain suit while biking to work. Everywhere it covered stayed dry. Now I'd like a pair of rain boots.
I've had the window behind me open so I could listen to the rain while I worked. Since it stopped raining there's been a really nice-smelling breeze blowing in.
I updated my picture composer to put labels over thumbnails and put a border around them as you hover over to make it more obvious what you're clicking on. The fancy CSS makes it look terrible in older versions of IE (8; I don't know about newer ones) because they don't recognize 'color: transparent' or 'box-sizing: content-box', so the new style is optional and the pictures link I sent out to the Fall Colors people is to the simple one that looks okay in IE.
