Dream: First, I was in the basement trying to rebuild the LW map. Either the old one had fallen apart, or we had another set of pieces (grid paper with map on it). I was trying to scrape off al the old rubber cement and put on new stuff. There were really only 2 big pieces and one small one, but they were covered in old, crusty, rubber cement. In the meantime, I was trying to find a grilf. I was talkind to some girl I knew in the basement. I wasn't supposed to play with the kettle drums, but it was so much fun. Also, there were a bunch of guys trying to wash the map bysoaking it in water. Dad was there and said something like "it's better than X", where I don't remember what X was.

Before this, I think, maybe after... The Russians kept taking over the airport. It was really dumb, because whenever the Russians took over anything, they made life completely miserable. They'd kill you if you did something they didn't like. We managed to invent airplanes before they did, though, and used them to take the airport back (I think). Andy (Pohl) was there. He was helping me invent airplanes or something.

Andy and I (I think) were checking out the latest games from Sonic Team. I was expecting they'd make one for PS2. We saw a few for good old Genesis (Sonic 3). There were these weird games that would work with NES or PS2. You'd play half way through, and then you had to swith platform to finish (this was if you were emulating it on your PC - if you were actually playing the game something else would happen, I guess, but I don't know what.

Then I was at this place like bleachers at a stadium. There were groups of people around the bleachers. I remember the bleachers were plastic-looking and light blue, kinda aqua-ish. There was someone giving us instructions. Within our group of people, we were supposed to find someone to be a 'partner' with and we'd imitate that other person. Some rather dark-skinned girl (I guess she was Indian or something) said I couldn't work with her because I knew her Dad. I didn't quite understand that. Oh well. I'm reminded of that thing with the Russians taking over the airport at this point. Hmmm... Anyway, I did find some guy. We didn't really get around to doing the switchy thing, but I was talking to one kinda mean guy, away from the rest of the group (on a trail that led up into the snowy mountains, but we were wtill right by the bleachers). He had a knife. Knives were dangerous. He said he could shoot me. I quickly grabbed a handgun out of his backpack, ran back a ways, and shot him. He survived, though. He was chasing after me with the knife. I guess I ran out of bullets or something, and he was after me. We ran up all these paths and into a tall building. I was no longer the guy who was running, but more someone watching from outside. I'll call the guy I was previously 'Dave'. Anyway, Dave was sitting in this chair in this little room - only big enough for one person, but the bad guy (I'll cal him Mr. X) was really clever, and Dave couldn't get away from him, so he just had to put up with X stabbing him in the face every 3 seconds. Dave was sitting in his chair in this darkl little room at some sort of communication terminal. He was talking to the friendlies back in the City. (Note about Cities: This whole thing was taking place some time in the future, like 2101 or something. The Cities had all sorts of giant tubes coming out of them going into nearby lakes, sucking up oxygen to keep the people there alive, since the Cities were so huge. They used Hydrogen to create power, but there was a shortage. - think Midgar) He was saying, "was I just stabbed through the nose? Ugh." I guess I was a person back in the City hearing about all this, except I saw it happening, too. Dave was a real Hero for us back in the City, trying to stop X (who was trying to take over the world by monopolizing hydrogen supplies or something). Finally, Dave pulled a lever, which dropped the seat down through a hole in the floor down into a vertical tunnel leading to the basement of this building or something. X was too clever for that though. He pulled a lever of his own, which got him down faster. He didn't bother Dave, though. He went back up and took a Hydrogen blimp that was parked on top of the mountain, and went off somewhere. At the same time, he had launched a big spaceship, which was actually the City's, I think (he wasn't supposed to do that). Dave got back to the City in one piece (but all cut up, anyway). Meanwhile, X was in the mountains. He had recruited a bunch of helpers. They were digging up big veins of hydrogen (It was a white solid). When they dug stuff up, it looked like ice cream - the Hydrogen was white stuff around the outside, Oxygen was inside that (it was blue), and inside that was 2 solid-at-room-temp substances, I'm not sure what they were though. Sulfur and Zinc? I don't know, so I'll call them Sulfur and Zinc. Anyway, they all came in 'blocks', and each substance came in it's own shaped block:

X and his buddies were setting up mines all over the mountains to mine the stuff. They used the Hydrogen as fuel for all their weapons (to take over the world with), and Zinc to build walls to make a little fortress (the Zinc blocks were about 2.5 meters high, and were really heavy - good for building walls). At this point, I was watching from the point of view of one of X's guys. I had gone and fiddled with some of the tubes coming from the City, taking it out of the lake, and putting it into a big tank of hydrogen; the City needed Hydrogen anyway, right? Well, I only had it out a few seconds, but I heard that a few people died from asphyxiation (can't breathe hydrogen, of course). Back in the City, the old me (the one who was afraid of knives) had found a knife lying on top of a short building. I climbed up to get it because you couln't leave knife lying around in a huge City like this. Some bad person could use it to hurt someone! I was working on destroying the knife. Back with X, we were building a fortress on this square, sandy place at the base of the mountains, near where the bleachers wer, I think. They were setting up the Zinc blocks around the perimiter. I was telling X something like "look at this: they're too heavy. they're sinking in. You're going to destroy us!", but X just said I was stupid. With all that hydrogen around, our production and research rates had gone way up, and we had battleships, airships, aircraft carriers, etc. etc. We were talking about how we probably wouln't have thought of putting big guns on ships had we thought of putting airplanes on them first. Anyway, our fortress wasn't working because all the walls were sinking into the sand, making us rather vulnerable to attack. Sure enough, troops from the City came over and forced us to clean up our mess we had made or die. So the X group ended up making a website on Homestead.com, and that really sucked, since Homestead is no good at all.
