Jared and I (and YC with me) stayed at work until 22:00 last night working on getting the WIPFLI reports working. YC went to the store and got me some yogurt and nuts to much on. On the way home I was thinking about a song I should make, and that got me thinking about software synthesizers, and that got me thinking about modeling an RTS or SimCity-like game as a bunch of CPUs that control robots and can send simple messages over wires. We came home and I talked to A-Day about it, and like most conversations with A-Day, it ended up being about really abstract things, like the proper granularity of software componentization.

I dreamt that Armstrong had moved into my house, and I guess YC had gone to California, and I spent so much time at work that I hardly ever came home. I almost forgot that it was my house, and I talked about it sometimes like I was just going to visit Armstrong. There was a blue house that I passed on the way to work where some people were offering to rent me an extra bedroom.

There was another part of the dream, maybe earlier, when I was walking through a building to a big open field on the backside with a lot of other people. Sometimes we'd stop to use the bathroom or something. I sort of became friends with a couple of the guys I was walking with. I think we were expecting a concert on the other side.
