I had a dream last night that I had bought a very large house somewhere in Adam's neighborhood, or maybe near the Zoo. It was 3 floors high and had a basement and a large built-in garage. I was hanging out in the garage setting up some speakers and Neil came by to visit. Later all my friends were moving in and I was exploring. All the floors were staggered. The basement was really small and only 2 rooms. The upper room was so short you had to crawl through, and was made of stone. Then there was a slightly larger room next to it with a lower floor. As I looked around I was finding all sorts of problems with the place. In some places it was obvious that the ceiling of a room had caved in and they had nailed plywood onto things to make it look like a balcony. And I began to realize that this was not the house I really bought, and I wondered what I was doing here. There was a really huge deck on the back where people were hanging out.
In real life, I have a ton of stuff to do, and I don't have time to do them all. Here are the things:
- Work on the Schweser cart (this is the thing I go to work 10 hours a day for and which is paying for my house)
- Install a vent and fan in the bathroom.
- Write a web service for my new picture management program to use to tag files so YC and I can tag all our new pictures so that we can actually find stuff later.
- Finish Junko
- Update ContentCouch to cache image thumbnails.
- Add functions to ContentCouch to generate directories based on tags.
- Build shelves to store all our stuff.
- Hook up speakers and update SCUM3 to actually work.
- Build a nice computer room in the basement (probably will be made primarily of shelves).
