I had a dream that it was winter and Fizz would come over a lot and we'd camp in the back yard .
Then I dreampt that I was making a level for Half-Life with a bunch of big grassy fields. I had to split it up into sections because the engine couldn't handle the whole thing at once. At the end (after about 4 sections of grassy field) it became an episode of the Simpsons where we were talking about how this colloseum-like building that was there was cooler in the old days. Then we looked to the south and we could see the older version of it in another section. I wondered if that was a bug in the engine. Then the game told me to 'buy the game' to find out what would happen next, as this was only the shareware version.
I kept playing this Half-Life level, and it was still a level that I had made, and I came to a building where I was expecting a boss to be. It had walls of STONE8 and some greyish NUKAGE on the floor. And there was a window to outside where you could see people driving buy in pickup trucks. And there were lots of palm trees. I stopped to work on this place some more, since it wasn't done. I added more palm trees on a terraced slope because they are cheap in this engine. I think I was getting Half-Life mixed up with FarCry.
Then I was watching 'The Sound of Music', except it was all about my parents' house in the 1960s. It was very interesting. Also, I had never realized before that that movie was all about our house (my parents showed up about halfway through - before that someone else lived there).
Then it became San Francisco in the middle of the night. I was running up a hill as fast as only Doomguy could. When I reached the top I had enough momentum that I flew up onto the roof of a 2-story office building. I could see a big LED billboard off in the distance with the time on it. I found some stairs down into the building and a guy inside asked me what time it was. I didn't remember what the billboard had said.
I also dreampt that Yoru wandered out the front door during a party and was walking around in the snow. I figured it wasn't a good idea for her to be outside so I brought her back in. Then YC and I were biking down Gorham. Some kid was with us. Biking was hard because of all the deep tire tracks in the snow and it being so soft that our tires would just sink in (this does happen in the winter).
Today I came to LaCrosse with Woody to talk to the Kaplan/Schweser people. We ate food from Panera bread and ate at Edwardo's Pizza Wagon, which did not resemble a wagon in any way. Then we went to a prk downtown and Woody made me take pictures.
We are staying in the Stoney Creek Inn, which is where I'm typing this up from. Atticus has to move into the apartment tomorrow, so I hope he can get ahold of YC so she can let him in. I still need to move my computers and clothes over, and we need to order some internets.
